ABOUT THE EXPO
Future Fest Illawarra will be held on Sunday 1 September 2013 at The Pavilion Kiama.
Organised by Kiama Municipal Council the expo will offer an amazing opportunity for green businesses to highlight how their products and services can help householders adapt to a new carbon economy, live more comfortably and reduce their consumption, environmental footprint and their bills.
The expo will include the following events:
- Children’s activities
- Native tree giveaways
- Guest appearance from a celebrity
AIMS OF THE EXPO
- Showcase environmentally sustainable ideas, products and practices which enable us to have less impact on
- Celebrate how local business, schools, government, individuals and community groups are rising to the challenge and providing solutions to the social and environmental issues facing us.
- Raise community awareness about living sustainably in an urban environment.
- Bring together the diverse resources needed to create a holistic picture of living sustainably.
- Directly support members and community groups with similar aims and agendas.
- Link consumers and providers of suitable living goods and services.
