Lanlan’s Shanghai Dumplings

LanLan's Shanghai DumplingsEnjoy Lanlan’s popular Guo Tie (Shanghai Dumplings), Shao Mai (Breakfast Dumpling), prawn Shao Mai, meat and vegetarian spring rolls and Char Sui (vegetarian steamed buns).  Everything on the menu is home produced.  Guo tie is a dumpling which is fried on the bottom, steamed on the top and contains pork mince and chicken soup.  In Shanghai these dumplings are placed in wide flat pans and fried with the lid on so that one side darkens and crisps, while the top steams.  Lanlan serves the dumplings with brown rice vinegar or her “secret sauce”.  Bite into these delightful dumplings and enjoy the juice but be careful as it is hot!

Lanlan’s Shanghai Dumplings also trades at Gerringong, Bowral and Pyrmont markets.
