Wanted - building supplies and materials

We will be building a new house soon and I am looking for materials to help with the huge costs of building the house and also I would like to lessen our impact on the environment as much as possible by sourcing used or un-needed building supplies such as: timbers, pavers, corrugated iron, plywood, garage or shed, plumbing, toilets, windows, doors, paint, etc. There many new environmental impact regulations that must be met so items must meet BASIX requirements such as dual flush toilets. We are willing to pay a reasonable price or trade for items when necessary.

Not sure if you would be interested, but at colleague at work has approx. 50 tonne of bluestone to get rid of. If you are interested could you please let me know by the end of the week and I can pass on his details to you. The bluestone has been excavated from a property in Gerringong and will need to be removed asap.

Wow! thanks for the offer Jazza. I have no need for 50 tons of bluestone right now and hope that I don't in the future - (usually the need comes just after you pass it up!) I will pass on it for now.
